|* 10k Team||3 or more people age 15 years and OVER|
|5k||open to age 11 years and OVER|

|60m||open to age 6 years and UNDER|
* Teams can be male, female or mixed and the first three members across the line determine the team's placing.
This is a multi-terrain race and we strongly recommend a good pair of trail shoes. In the rare occurrence of rain over the next week, it will be muddy in places. There are several parts that are very uneven under foot and there may be trip hazards, sticks, rocks etc. We ask you to run with your eyes open to avoid any potential injury!
If you have run the course before you will be aware that there are a few very narrow sections that can get congested. If you are a slower runner, please keep to the left of any narrow section so that the faster runners can get past.
We love that a lot of you are running with friends, but please try not to run in a line, blocking the course for others trying to get past!
Please follow the signs to the designated parking. We kindly request that you do NOT attempt to park elsewhere in the village. This event is dependent on the good will of the local residents, and this goodwill can be easily lost if people park where they shouldn’t.
Due to regulations we are not permitted to stop traffic on the main road between the car park and the race village. It is therefore down to you to make sure you cross the road safely and carefully.
Please pay attention at all times, be aware that some cars travel very fast on this stretch of road, despite the speed restrictions, and take particular care of any children crossing with you.
There will be NO parking at the hall iteself.
Devauden Races are exceptional in offering all our runners a free slice of delicious home made cake and a drink, as well as a very well stocked goody bag. Make sure you don’t forget to collect yours after you have crossed the finish line.
This year, we are also offering all of our runners discounted tickets to the Devauden Festival on the 18th-19th May. Just show your running number at the festival ticket stand to claim your runners discount.
Unfortunately we cannot offer a secure bag drop area so recommend you leave any valuables at home or with a friend. We will provide an area where bags can be left, but this will NOT be secure and any belongings will be left at your own risk.
Dogs are NOT permitted anywhere within the runners village/ hall grounds, with the exception of assistance dogs. If you bring your dog into the hall grounds you will be asked to leave.
You are lucky enough to be running in an area of outstanding beauty and we wish to keep it this way. Please do not leave litter along the route. There are plenty of marshal points along the route and they will be happy to take your litter if you pass it to them (throwing your litter at them as you pass will, however, not make them happy!)
We will have a small number of portaloos as well as the toilets in the hall (yes, we know there are never enough, but without putting up race entry by a huge amount, we are providing as many as we can!). Please don’t use these to change in, or you might come out to face a queue of desperate, angry runners!
Please remember at all times that this is a race organised entirely by volunteers, we are not professional race organisers and we are doing our best! Our team have put in a huge amount of their time and effort to give you the best day we can. Give the marshals a smile and a wave as you go past (some of them will have been up since 5am getting the course ready), if things don’t go exactly as planned, give us constructive feedback after the event...shouting is not going to improve anyone’s day…..and above all HAVE FUN!
